The official 2018 Micronational Olympics will begin on March 17, 2018 (Saturday, St. Patrick's Day) through April 1, 2018 (Easter). They will be held in Ginepro Arena at late night for the best viewing performance and purposes. According to the Prince, Andanian souvenirs and flags will be sold at all stores. Also, the Prince, head of the Micronational Olympic Group, told the Andanian Times that music would be played and that an art performance would be displayed as well. All participating countries will have their flags shown and flown at the opening ceremony. One of the art performances will be of a Saturn V rocket going to the moon and finding alien life. A piano piece will accompany a mini Andanian history performance.
The Olympic torch is still in the making, but the Micronational Olympic Group Designing Crew thinks it will be done by March 15. The game designs and bibs will be sold, and signed posters will be given of all Andanian athletes. Since the Prince of Andany will be opening the games, he will also be giving out signed posters for free. Tickets will be sold until 6:00 PM Andanian Standard Time (5:30 PM CET). Viewing of the event will be available and a code will be given for broadcasters that want to display the Olympics. No fee will be charged for viewing any ceremony, event, or broadcasting; though, a special code that will be emailed to the broadcaster for every broadcast will be given individually. The MOG Secretary stated, "If any copy of the Olympics from the Andanian Broadcasting Network is found, a class action lawsuit will be filed for copyright infringement of the media displayed, arts, music, etc. This is why we need contact to people who want to save the video, display, or photograph it. The cauldron is supposed to be lit at the end of the opening ceremony as the final ending for the opening ceremony, and the start of a new era in Micronational Olympics!
